Dear Family and Friends ...

I want you to know part of me is still there
I may have left you before I had planned
But God saw fit to reach out his hand
Many memories of me were left behind
Close your eyes and they come to mind

Thoughts that keep me alive in your heart
A reminder that we are not really apart
Look for the beauty in all that you see
Each one is a gift sent to you, from me

A beautiful rose or a small butterfly
The sweet smile of a young child so shy
A rainbow of hope or the majestic trees
The awesome smell of a fresh spring breeze

Let them all be a reminder of my love for you
Then I will always be a part of whatever you do
Feel the warm sunshine upon your cheek
A kiss from me ... the touch you seek

Feel my arms in the wind’s embrace
A hug to wipe the tears from your face
Don’t mourn my loss because now I am free
A land of peace and love is all that I see

No pain or evil will ever touch me here
I am with God and those I hold most dear
The best of both worlds wrapped into one
Being with all of you and the Holy One
